Training support for young professionals
If you are already working professionally, or hope to become professional when you finish full-time education there are a number of ways that Circus Maniacs can help you.
Training
Circus Maniacs offers a fully comprehensive training program for young people aged 3 and up. We have weekly performance groups that meet on Saturdays (term-time):
- Our Circus Bugz programmes: Caterpillars and Butterflies.
- Saturday Circus Club (Beginners / Intermediate Level, 8-20s) - our first level youth group for those just starting out.
- And the next progression up for young people interested in performing: our two youth performance companies (entry via audition).
Young artists who don't live close enough to Circus Maniacs to attend weekly classes can also access a range of training and performance opportunities via our annual summer and easter schools.
Promotion:
Casting Directors often contact us as their first point of call to source young circus performers from the UK.
Both our young performers and adult professionals are promoted via our associate organisation, The Circus Maniacs Agency.
If you are a talented young acrobat, dancer or circus performer planning on a circus-orientated performance career, we would like to hear from you.
Contact: agency@circusmaniacs.com
We are currently looking for funding to support a range of exciting projects aimed at expanding upon what we currently offer to budding young circus performers in the UK.
We are also interested in hearing from any funders, sponsors or benefactors who believe in supporting UK talent.
