Parties - Health & Safety Information

Circus Maniacs' take great care about health & safety issues, and we have an excellent track record.

Health Information:

The person who in charge on the day of the workshop group that is visiting us (or that we are visiting), must hold basic information about all participants e.g. Full Name, Date of Birth, Address, Emergency Contact Details, details of any Health Issues & the exact name of any Medication currently taken.
We will assume that the person who is arranging and booking the workshop will have obtained consent from parents / guardians of any particpants under 18 years.
Circus Maniacs do not require that you show us all this private information, but we do require that Circus Maniacs tutors are made aware of any health issues that might affect any of the workshop participants before the workshop starts.
Having said this, generally find that most normally active people can participate in most skills whatever age, and most are usually are capable of a lot more than they might initially imagine!

For their own safety, students must wear the appropriate clothing & footwear for each of the activities. Please read 'What to Wear' before participating in training with us.
Failure to wear appropriate clothing may mean that you will not be able to participate in all the activities we offer.

For their own safety, and the safety of others, everyone using our Training Space must read and adhere to 'Circus Maniacs School Rules and Safety Procedures'.
These are displayed on Circus Maniacs Health and Safety Notice-board in the training space.

Circus Maniacs' Insurance gives us a £2 million limit of indemnity for any one occurrence.
In addition most of our teacher / performers have their own public liability insurance. They usually either have taken out their own additional public liability insurance policy, or are members of Equity which automatically provides them with public liability insurance cover with a £5 million limit of indemnity for any one occurrence.
