Circus Maniacs take great care about health & safety issues, and we have an excellent track record.
Rules and Safety Procedures
- Everyone using our training space must read and adhere to 'Circus Maniacs School Rules and Safety Procedures'.
- All Rules and Safety Procedures are displayed on the Circus Maniacs Health and Safety noticeboard in the training space.
Refreshments
- For most activities it is highly recommended that you bring water with you to drink, to stop you getting dehydrated.
- You may only bring water into the training studio. Strictly NO food, is allowed into the training studio itself.
- There is an independant cafe on site; it is normally open 10am - 3pm weekdays
- Alternatively you may prefer to bring a packed lunch or picnic and feast on the grass outside.
- If the on-site cafe is closed, there are also a number of other local cafes, pubs and local shops about 5 minutes walk away, where food can be purchased.
Use of Equipment
- There is a selection of equipment available generally to use as part of the rehearsal space.
- Hirers must check in advance which equipment they are allowed to use, as there may also be equipment present in our space that is not the property of Circus Maniacs, and therefore should not be used.
- If you wish to use specific equipment that is not made generally available, Circus Maniacs has a range of circus equipment available to hire out.
Student Hire
It is mandatory that all students:
- only practice what they have been taught by Circus Maniacs' tutors
- if set an exploratory task, they stay within the ground rules of that set task.
Insurance
All hirers and users of the space, whether companies or individuals, must show documentary evidence that they hold current, appropriate Public Liability Insurance.
We will need to hold a copy of your current public liability insurance certificate / current Equity Card.
